ARABIC LANGUAGE CERTIFICATIONS
Arabic language certifications follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, which provides a structured descriptive base of language skills:
A1 – Elementary, A2 – Basic, B1 – Moderate, B2 – Good, C1 – Very Good, C2 – Excellent

AN-NAJAH NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF NABLUS | University of West Attica
The collaboration of the two institutions created the Center for Language Proficiency Testing and Certification. An-Najah University (Nablus An-Najah National University) has an audit and certification role while the University of West Attica has a procedural role . Also the University of Piraeus is an official examination center .
Certification is provided in all European countries.
All levels A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2 of the European Standard are
examined. At levels B2, C1, C2, those who have passed the B1 exam have the right to participate in the exam.
EGYPTIAN EDUCATIONAL CENTER
The Egyptian Educational Center of Athens in collaboration with the Educational Center of the Embassy of Egypt, provides a Certificate of Arabic Studies recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education of Egypt. The exams are conducted for levels A1, A2 (initial level) and B1, B2 (intermediate level).
In Greece, the Egyptian Cultural Center of Athens in Athens conducts exams every June.
AN-NAJAH NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF NABLUS
Certificate of the Arabic Language Level – (A1-A2)
Applicants must:
- use the three basic tenses (Present, Indefinite, Future)
- they can make simple and daily transactions without difficulty, have a dialogue with questions and answers
The exams include the following sections:
Grammar, Text Comprehension, Acoustic Comprehension, Report, Oral Exam
Athens Cultural Center Embassy of Egypt
Levels A1-A2
The Egyptian Educational Center of Athens in collaboration with the Educational Center of the Embassy of Egypt, provides a Certificate of Arabic Studies by the Ministry of Higher Education of Egypt.
Each of these examinations is based on the material structure of a particular book: Standard Arabic: An elementary-intermediate course, by Schulz, but which may change.
For this book the material for the level:
- A1 are the first 7 chapters
- A2 is from the 7th to the 14th chapter
- B2 is from the 14th to the 21st chapter

Applicants must:
- Can understand the main points that are presented to him clearly and without deviations from the common linguistic Arabic press and that concern issues that are regularly encountered at work, at school, in leisure, etc.
- Can handle situations that may arise during a trip to an area where Arabic is spoken.
- He can produce a simple text related to topics that he knows or that concerns him personally.

Level B1

- Can understand the main ideas of a complex Arabic text, both on specific and abstract topics, including discussions on technical issues of his specialty.
- Can be reconciled with some comfort and spontaneity that make it possible to communicate normally with native speakers of Arabic without much difficulty
